Wind Performance Reporting System data query
|
The electronic WPRS database contains the reported performance data on California's wind turbines since 1985. Specific information can be retrieved by following steps 1 through 4 in the form below.
Note that the Quick Query form that appears on other eWPRS pages is functionally identical to the form below, although it does not include detailed documentation. Additional information about querying and using the eWPRS data is listed below the form.

Notes on accessing and using the eWPRS
|

- A zero (0) returned value indicates that a corresponding zero was entered into the eWPRS database. A blank returned value indicates that no corresponding data exists in the database for the given query.
- The query results can be selected, copied to the clipboard, and then pasted into a word processor, text editor, or spreadsheet. In most applications, the data will paste in as tab separated values. In some instances, Microsoft Excel may paste all the data into one cell. If that happens, paste all the data into a text file first and then open/import the text file with Excel.
- When viewing Newly installed capacity and Newly installed turbines data, the Annual column shows the difference between the end of the current year and the end of the previous year.
- The Newly installed capacity and Newly installed turbines values are calculated from the reported total (cumulative) capacity and wind turbine values. If a total value is not reported for either the current or previous time period (quarter or year), then it is assumed to be zero. However, if neither the current nor previous period has a reported total value, then the Newly installed value is left blank.
- When querying either Newly installed capacity or Newly installed turbines starting from one year after the first year in the eWPRS database, values for the first year will also be reported. In other words, for Newly installed queries starting in 1986, 1985 results will be reported too.
